As of Saturday 14-01-2023, the metro station Jiřího z Poděbrad will close for a period of 10 months. Jiřího z Poděbrad is one of the few places where they still have old fast Soviet escalators. These escalators are no longer allowed according to EU regulations. All old escalators are replaced one by one when they show defects.
Jiřího z Poděbrad can be reached by tram during the works.
